ArcMate's Reacher Recycling Program

We’re excited to announce the launch of ArcMate’s Reacher Recycling Program — a simple, eco-friendly way to recycle your old or broken reachers and allowing us the opportunity to refurbish tools so they can be have a new life. 

As part of our ongoing commitment to sustainability, ArcMate’s new program helps reduce waste, recover materials, and support a cleaner planet one reacher at a time. 

Why We’re Doing This 

Each year, thousands of reaching tools end up in landfills. With the Reacher Recycling Program, we’re giving customers an opportunity to recycle those tools responsibly. Many tools can then be refurbished and given a new life, while others can be disassembled and recycled.  

Over the years we’ve heard many customers tell us that when their tool breaks., they either try to repair it themselves, which requires some special tools, or they feel bad throwing it away, contributing to the very problem they try so hard to rectify. We thought, “there has to be something we can do!” and thus, the Reacher Recycling Program was born. 

How It Works 

It’s easy to participate: 

1. Gather your reachers — a minimum of six (6) ArcMate reachers with metal shafts.
2. Fill out the form on this page
3. Ship your reachers to us
4. Once received, we’ll inspect and responsibly recycle them. 
   Eligible shipments may qualify for a coupon toward a new ArcMate tool! 

What Qualifies 

We accept all reachers for recycling. Certain tools may be eligible for a coupon toward the purchase of a new tool. These reachers include: 

• • EZ Reacher® Outdoor Standard (P/N 20S, 32S, 32SC, 40S, 40SC, 48SC) 

• • Orang-U-Tongs® PRO (P/N 7702) 

• • Orang-U-Tongs® Standard (P/N 15202) 

If you have fewer than six reachers, consider teaming up with a local Keep America Beautiful affiliate to combine shipments!
